A few decades ago, wallpaper came very much in fashion. While this was very popular, we have actually started moving back towards having paint in homes. The reason for this is because paint typically matches the interior of a home a bit better. Wallpaper can be a bit different in the sense that it is typically a pattern. Sometimes, if you have a specific design for a room, then a wallpaper can work. Alternatively, if you want to change the design of that room, it can be a bit difficult, because sometimes this pattern does not match. Let’s take a look at some interior paint colors that can last through the fashion of time.
Neutrals
Neutral colors seem to go with everything. This is a great option if you like to change around the layout of your room more often than not. Choosing a color like a white, gray or beige can be a fantastic choice for you. Another benefit of utilizing neutral colors is that they really add another dimension of light to a room. Brightening up your room with these kinds of colors can really make a difference.
Dark Colors
Using a dark color, such as a red or blue can really bring a great element to a home, especially one with a more rustic and country-esque interior. This is very popular, and while it does not necessarily bring additional light to a room, it really does its job as it matches almost everything.
Warm Colors
While going for a bright yellow, orange, or red is probably not the route to go, take a look at the undertones. Any color with a warm undertone typically does well when a different interior design is implemented. Lighter colors, such as a light shade of brown or pale yellow can really do the trick if you are looking for some color, but do not want to go crazy and have to repaint the next year.
